In the age of disruption, organizations are investing in innovation projects to enhance or create new values to customers. Innovation projects tend to begin with loosely defined objectives and become clearer as the project proceeds. For many PMOs, managing a portfolio of innovation projects is an exciting but challenging endeavor with a mixed collection of uncoordinated initiatives and activities. How do PMO leaders manage the innovation project portfolio to leverage its momentum, integrate strategy and execution, allocate resources, assess priorities, balance risks, and provide maximum value?
